Carbon Neutral – Vectair announce award for V-Air® SOLID Evolution

Carbon neutral means having a balance between emitting carbon and absorbing carbon from the atmosphere in carbon sinks.

Vectair Systems are pleased to announce that their V-Air® SOLID Evolution air freshener has been certified as carbon neutral.

With no batteries, liquids or harmful propellants or solvents, the recyclable dispenser & refill system works with just natural airflow. The Company received their certification from Carbon Footprint Ltd, an organisation set up to help Companies become more sustainable.

Vectair joined the scheme to help offset carbon and help communities and projects around the world. Carbon offsetting can help to reduce carbon emissions by funding effective solutions.

Often, carbon offsetting, with the goal of becoming neutral can help reduce emissions swiftly. Projects associated to carbon offsetting help tackle the ever growing threat of global climate change.

As a result of Vectair’s sustainability push, they received a certificate to confirm the amount of carbon dioxide they had offset.

By supporting projects, such as Portel-Pará Reduced Deforestation REDD project in Brazil, wildlife habitats can thrive once again.

Because of Vectair’s awareness of being and becoming more responsible and desire to become carbon neutral, 11 trees were also planted in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya.
