Chad Davis – Tom Valentino Award Winner

Vectair Systems Inc., are delighted to announce that the winner of the 2015 Thomas W. Valentino Achievement Award has been unveiled as Chad Davis, Vice President of Operations, Vectair Systems Inc. Chad was presented with the award by Company President, Paul Wonnacott in a presentation surrounded by visitors and staff at the recent ISSA Las Vegas 2015 exhibition.

Presenting the award, Paul Wonnacott said “This year, we couldn’t award it to anyone other than Chad because he has gone further than anyone could have expected and we are very grateful for his efforts and so this year’s award just had to go to Chad Davis”.

In his acceptance speech, Chad Davis said: “I didn’t get the chance to work with Tom for very long, but in the short time I did have with him, even in his sickest days, he’d be texting me, and we’d be texting back and forth at 11 o’clock at night about how excited we were about the future and our plans we had for this company.

Now, we have the tools for success, I think this year will be the best year ever with all the new product launches and the great team that we surround ourselves with”. A video of the award presentation is available to watch on the Vectair Systems Facebook page.

The inaugural winner last year was Timothy Twitchell of TNT Unlimited.

The Thomas W. Valentino Achievement Award is presented each year to an individual (this could be a rep or a staff member) who has shown an outstanding contribution and positive impact to Vectair Systems Inc. over the last year. The award was set up in honour of the late Tom Valentino, who served as our North American Vice President of Sales and Marketing until his death in September 2014. Tom died at the age of 51 following an 18-month battle against cancer, in the company of his wife Kristie, his twin daughters Lauren and Lindsey and his close family.
