Case Study: Rome Airport, New Development, Italy

Rome, Italy
Rome Airport

Where?

ADR, a private company, has been managing the exciting new development of Rome Airport, Italy.

Rome airport sees more than 42 million passengers travelling through its’ doors per year. That’s over 100,000 people every day! Facilities and products catering for this high volume of traffic should be durable and safe.

Why?

As one can expect from an airport, a high percentage of the passengers using Rome Airport, travel with children.

Installing good, safe and secure baby change facilities was a priority for Public Procurement and Purchase Manager, Mrs Gloria Apuzzo. She was particularly looking for a good quality baby change unit that was also cost effective.

What?

Mrs Apuzzo was introduced to the Babyminder® Baby Changing Table – stations that provide parents and caregivers with a safe & secure space to change a child.

Mrs Apuzzo was impressed with how the units looked in the washroom, compared to other units on the market and decided to install them in the new building. Rome Airport continues to be expanded. Mrs Serena D’angelo, who is now responsible for Public Procurement and Purchasing says:

“With a high volume of people using our washrooms every day, we were faced with finding a product that is both durable & practical and easy to maintain. Babyminder® is all of those things, as well as being aesthetically pleasing too!”
