Scent is all around us. Whether we like the smell or not, fragrance plays a big part of our emotions and can influence a lot of our attitudes and behaviours. As it's the start of the year, we look at the scent trends of 2019 and what fragrances will be in demand and influencing us all this year.
When you think of going to a game you might think of associated scents with it, such as the outdoors, leather and freshness, which we’d all agree are much better than scents such as sweat and mud. People want to go into a sports arena and enjoy the overall experience, so scent marketing for this environment (and associated areas) is essential!
Now, we could be like thousands of Companies who'll just tell you what fragrances are great for Christmas - been there, done that and got the t-shirt. At Vectair Systems, we'd like to think we're a little more creative than that... so, with Christmas in the air, and our expertise in scent, we consider the stages of scent marketing at Christmas and what fragrance related present(s) would typically suit each stage...
You want to work out in an environment that not only looks clean and hygienic but smells it to. This naturally leads to utilizing universal scents that work well in multiple areas such as weight rooms, cardio areas, changing rooms and toilets. Universal scents such as apple, citrus and mango work well for this purpose, as they are subtle yet effective, giving off aromas that inspire and uplift without being overpowering.
How often have you flown with an airline and something has put you off, making you not want to fly with them again? Cramped seating, poor food, crying children or bad smells are top of the problem lists. Now we know that not all of those issues are directly caused by the airline, or anything they can control, however what the airline CAN control is the ambience on board and more importantly, the scent of the plane.
One thing that is always expected from a hotel brand is a clean and welcoming hotel and environment, which is why more and more hotels are employing scent marketing to ensure that hotel lobbies, waiting areas, meeting rooms and corridors smell as welcoming as possible. Remember... there is no second chance to make that first impression.

We protect our trademarks & that's important to our customers. Why? Trademarks are an effective communication tool. They capture customer attention & make your business stand out. Customers viewing a trademark know immediately who they are dealing with & are less likely to look for alternatives. In a brand or logo, trademarks can convey intellectual & emotional attributes & messages about you, your company & your company’s reputation.
Here at Vectair, we recognise that the environment is important. We ensure our products & industrial processes are ethical, environmentally friendly & economically viable. With that in mind, what is the difference between recyclable materials & materials that are biodegradable? Both sound good, both usually come with green, eco-friendly looking labelling, so where do the differences lie?
